Church of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity

The Orthodox parish of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in Gorodok was registered on May 10, 1990. On September 4, 1990, the building of the former parochial school of 1903 was transferred to the parish, which in 1999 was reconstructed according to the project of architect Yu.G Sokolovsky into a rectangular church with a semicircular apse. The temple was covered with a sloping hipped roof, above which an octagonal drum with a spherical dome began to rise.

A belfry was attached to the temple. In the architecture of the church, elements of the architecture of the previous building, which is of historical importance for the parish, were used. In the temple of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, for the worship of believers, there is an ark with a particle of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov miracle worker. An icon with a particle of the relics of the Great Martyr Marina (Margarita) of Antioch, an icon with a particle of the relics of the great martyr and healer Panteleimon, particles of the holy relics of the martyr Valentina of Palestine and the holy martyr Thaddeus, Archbishop of Tver, as well as particles of the Mamre oak tree and stone from the Holy Sepulcher, which were donated churches in 2014.
